<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the method for analyzing transmission characteristics of a transmission line including a connector without paying attention to the positions of the earth terminal and signal terminal of the connector. SOLUTION: This method consists of a process 1 for extracting the structure size of the connector, a process 2 for generating connector structure input information by sectioning the connector with section perpendicular to a signal transmission direction, a process 3 for generating a relational expression or table for line constant determination by analyzing electromagnetic fields by the sections according to sectional structure information and putting line constants together on the basis of information on distances between connector terminals as variables, a process 4 for determining the line constants by the sections by inputting the said distance information to the said relational expression and generating transmission lines by the sections on the basis of terminal number information and inter-section length information, a process 5 for connecting the transmission circuits by the sections by using the connection information on the sectioned transmission circuits, and a process 6 for outputting a simple circuit for analyzing the transmission characteristics of the connector.</p> |
