LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE AND DISCONNECTION PROCESSING METHOD FOR BUS LINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the increasing of a time constant accompanied by the disconnection of a bus line in the case of an active matrix type liquid crystal display device in which a voltage is supplied from both ends of bus lines of TFTs(thin film transistors). SOLUTION: A TFT substrate is made to be a constitution in which auxiliary bus lines for gate bus line repair 21 crossing the display area of the TFT substrate and at least the bus line of one side of auxiliary bus lines for data bus line repair 31 and a repair bus line 31 of the outside of the display area arc formed and is made to be a constitution in which it is possible to connect the gate bus line 1-1 or the data bus line which is cut urmecessarily and the auxiliary bus lines 21 and the repair bus line 31 or they are made to be connected. The maximum time constant of the cut bus line is reduced and a display quality is improved by supplying a prescribed voltage from the intermediate part of the cut gate bus line 1-1 or the cut data bus line or intermediate parts of both lines.
