摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a simulator by which a tire noise or an inside-a-vehicle noise can be simulated with high fidelity by a method wherein the waveform of a tire noise at a time when a single very small protrusion is input to, or separated from, a tire being turned or the waveform of the inside-a-vehicle noise is used as a reference and a sound which is synthesized by taking into consideration the outline of the contact part of a tread with a road surface and the influence of a tire pattern is output. SOLUTION: In step 140, a waveform which represents the roughness of a road surface on functions of y=f1 x and y=f2 x on the basis of three-dimensional road surface shape data, the number of points per unit length in the point of intersection of the waveform with an rms value and in the positive time differential of the waveform representing the roughness of the road surface is found for every unit length, the density of every road surface is set, a random-number sequence which represents the density of the road surface is created for every density of the road surface, and the random-number sequence in every unit length is allocated to the outline at the front edge of a footprint at a time (t). In step 142, a random number 1 which is situated on a groove part in the random-number sequence is converted into 0. In step 144, the total number of 1's situated on the outline at the front edge and that on the rear edge of the footprint is computed, and a road-surface sensitivity factor is computed.
