PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceiling embedded type air conditioner, easy in maintenance and capable of exchanging a main body thereof without destroying a ceiling. SOLUTION: A ceiling embedded type air conditioner is equipped with a fan unit A, having a fan 2 and an air filter 5, a heat exchanger unit B, arranged at the side of the fan unit A and provided with a heat exchanger 3 as well as a drain pan 4, and a panel frame 7, formed so as to have a ceiling opening below the fan A as well as the heat exchanger unit B and attached removably. A first panel 11 is attached to the panel frame 7 openably at the lower side of the fan unit A while a second panel 12 is attached removably to the lower part of the heat exchanger unit B. The maintenance of the fan unit A can be effected by opening the first panel 11 while the maintenance of the heat exchanger unit B can be effected by removing the second panel 12. Further, a fan coil unit 10 can be exchanged by removing the panel frame 7 together with the first panel 11 and the second panel 12. |
