<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide color filters having red, green and blue parts which are thin in film thicknesses, lessen color clouding and have excellent spectral transmission characteristics and black parts which are high in optical densities (black matrices). SOLUTION: This photosensitive material has at least three silver halide emulsion layers having different color sensitive characteristics on a base. The respective silver halide emulsion layers are so formed as to contain couplers by developing blue, green and red colors respectively by making coupling reaction with the oxidant of a developing agent. This method comprises specifying the amt. of the couplers in the red color developing layers to >=1.5 times the amt. to obtain the preferable red filters and forming the substantial black of a transmission density of >=2.5 when the entire coupler on the base is brought into reaction. This photosensitive material is exposed by using a laser or light emitting diode and is subjected to color developing processing and desilvering processing so as to have the blue, green and red pixel patterns and the black matrices.</p> |
