PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print a high quality image by controlling a discharge amount of ink without changing largely a discharge rate of the ink by a method wherein a plurality of heating elements are respectively provided to each of a plurality of ducts, and flow resistance to an upper stream side corresponding to each heating element is made different in each duct. SOLUTION: Two heating parts 108 are formed of a heating element (a large heater) 201 (1) of a comparatively large heat value (a comparatively large heating sectional area), and a heating element (a small heater) 201 (2) of a comparatively small heat value in one ink duct 505. Herein, an inner surface 502A of a roof 502 positioning in the duct 505 is inclined, and a height of a part of the duct 505 in which the small heater 201 (2) is positioned is made less than a height of a part of the duct 505 in which the large heater (201) 1 is positioned. Therefore, flow resistance to an upper stream side from above the small heater (201) 2 is larger than flow resistance to the upper stream side from above the large heater 201 (1) in the duct 505. |
