<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain good electrification characteristics for a long time hardly causing contamination especially in a high humidity environment by forming a resin layer containing at least either one of fluororesin and polyolefin resin on the surface of a magnetic particle. SOLUTION: This magnetic particle for electrification member contains a ferrite component expressed by (Fe2 O3 )x (A)y (B)z and has a resin layer containing at least one of fluororesin and polyolefin resin. In the formula, A is at least one metal oxide component selected from Li2 O, MnO and MgO, B is one or more kinds of metal oxides different from A, x, y, and z are molar ratios satisfying 0.2<x<0.95, 0.01<y<0.5, x+y<=1, 0<=z<0.79. If x, y and z do not satisfy these relations, the resistance of the magnetic particles is hardly controlled. Moreover, y>z is preferable considering the productivity of the magnetic particles during sintering.</p> |
