<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a whole vehicle body compact and to make assembling and maintenance easy by arranging batteries and a fuel tank in the space surrounded by a vehicle frame. SOLUTION: An integrally structured vehicle body for composing a car room is supported on a vehicle frame 3 and a swing-type power unit 14 for supporting rear wheels is supported by the rear part of the vehicle frame 3 via a pair of right and left tray ring arms 15 such that it can be freely oscillated around a pivot point 16. The power unit 14 has a hybrid drive part 18 comprising an electric motor 56, an internal combustion engine 57 and a mission 58. The vehicle frame 3 has a rectangular frame 20 which suspends a tray 40 in the rectangular space of thereof and a plurality of batteries 4, 44 are arranged in the tray in the longitudinal and lateral positions. A fuel tank 45 is disposed at the rear right side in the tray 40 and an oil pump 47 is disposed at the bottom of the fuel tank 45.</p> |
