PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the method for aligning the materials to be joined in the diffusion welding, by which the materials are butted each other without a deviation in a position by adjusting the positions of the materials so that the deviation in a position is dissolved, detecting the deviation in position, or interposing an aligning member between the materials. SOLUTION: An engaging projecting part 51 on the one side of an insert member 50 is fixed on a bed while it is fitted with the engaging recessed part 61 of the material T1 clamped by a first clamp. By making a second clamp advance on the first clamp side, the engaging recessed part 61 of the material T2 to be joined, which is clamped by the second clamp, is fitted with the engaging projecting part 51 on another side of the insert member 50. In this state, the second clamp is further advanced on the first clamp side. And, the joint tip parts of the materials T1 and T2 to be combined are forcedly guided to the engaging projecting parts 51, 51 of the insert member 50, and the deviation in a position is autonomously dissolved for aligning. |
