PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the positional shift of upper and lower cog parts by setting the positions of both cog parts as aimed in a method for producing a double cog belt wherein the upper and lower cog parts are provided in the stretched layer and compressed layer on the upper and lower sides of a core wire. SOLUTION: In a method for producing a double cog belt by arranging cog parts to a compressed rubber layer and a stretched rubber layer and embedding a core wire in an adhesive rubber layer, a molded object 15 constituting at least the compressed rubber layer, the core wire and the stretched rubber layer is produced on a mold having groove parts provided thereto along the circumferential direction thereof at a predetermined interval and guide rods 25 are arranged on the surface of the molded object 15 in parallel to the axial direction of the mold. Thereafter, an outer matrix having recessed parts provided thereto along the circumferential direction thereof at a predetermined interval is inserted along the guide rods 25 to be alinged with the molded object 15 and, after the guide rods 25 are removed, the whole is vulcanized. |
