PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent various infections by needle piercing accident by providing projection parts and holes on a needle piercing accident preventing base so as to be conformable to injection needle caps differed in shape and size, thereby allowing an injection needle to be inserted without holding the injection needle cap in hand. SOLUTION: A needle piercing accident preventing base 1 has projection parts 5 and holes 2 so as to be conformable to injection needle caps differed in shape and size. When a general injection needle cap 3 or a vacuum blood collecting tube exclusive needle cap is inserted to the hole 2 of the needle piercing accident preventing base 1 before injection or blood collection, the insert port side of the cap is fixed to the projection part 5 so as not to be fallen more. When the injection needle is inserted and vertically pulled out after injection or blood collection, the injection needle can be taken out in the state housed in the injection needle cap 3. Even when a force is excessively added in insertion, the cap 3 is smoothly pulled out together with the needle by the projection part. |
