PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber drum having good hermetic sealability and excellent in handling properties such as carrying properties. SOLUTION: A fiber drum is equipped with a drum main body 1 consisting of a cylindrical body part 2 having an upper opening and the bottom plate part sealing the lower opening of the body part, a lid part 5 consisting of the lid cylindrical part 6 formed into a cylindrical shape having a diameter almost same to that of the drum main body 1 and supported on the upper end surface 2u of the body part 2 and the top plate part 7 sealing the upper opening of the body part and a short cylindrical handle part 4 arranged so that the upper end surface 4u thereof protrudes upwardly from the upper end surface 2u of the body part 2 and fixed to the upper part of the outer peripheral surface of the body part 2. The lid part 5 is inserted into the handle cylindrical part 4 to be supported on the upper end surface 2u of the body part 2 to seal the upper opening of the drum main body 1. A worker can certainly carry the drum by applying his hand H to the lower end surface 4d of the handle cylindrical part 4. |
