<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating device for sewage capable of treating continuously flowing-in sewage without the need for transferring means, scraping means and returning means needed heretofore by concentrating all of functions, such as treatment of org. matter by aeration and sepn. of solid from the liquid, to one treating vessel and making the inside of the single vessel changeable over to an aeration tank and a settling basin by changing over of the shut-down of aeration stirrers. SOLUTION: The circulating water path 11 in the treating vessel 2 is partly partitioned in a transverse direction by a partition wall 2 to form partition water paths 11a, 11b. These partition water paths 11a, 11b are provided with the aeration stirrers 3 and 4a, 4b. Weirs 5a, 6a are arranged near both ends of the respective partition water paths 11a, 11b. The region 11a partitioned by the weirs 5a, 6a is utilized as the settling vessel and the decomposition of the org. matter in the continuously flowing-in sewage and the sepn. of the solid from the liquid are continuously executed within the single treating vessell by changing over the operation of the aeration stirrers 3 and 4a, 4b.</p> |
