A bent steel rod or other form of tensioned band (9) encircles and applies an inwardly directed compressive force to the body of a bollard to clamp the body to a base of the bollard. The tensioned band (9) avoids the need for any angular orientation of the body relative to the base, and can form part of a set of parts for assembly into a bollard, or may be supplied with a bollard body, to enable attachment of the latter to a base. <IMAGE> |
