PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power consumption of a built-in battery by driving an on-interruption operating circuit operated for backing up encoder data by the built-in battery or an external power supply or both battery and a constant- voltage power supply lower than the voltage of the built-in battery at the time of the service interruption of a main power supply. SOLUTION: First and third diodes D1, D3 are connected to a main power supply 2 joined with an operating circuit 1 at the time of the ON of the main power supply, a second diode D2 and a built-in battery 3 in an encoder are linked with the first diode D1, and an external power supply 4 for a backup is conjoined with the second diode D2. A constant voltage circuit 6 is connected at the node of the second diode D2 and the built-in battery 3, and an on- interruption operating circuit 5 is joined through the constant voltage circuit 6 and a fourth diode D4. The power consumption of the built-in battery 3 can be reduced by driving the on-interruption operating circuit 5 at lower voltage than the voltage of the built-in battery 3 at the time of the service interruption of the main power supply 1 at that time. |
