PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the reflection from a reflection plate strongest on a regular observational position without overlapping with a surface regular reflection wave by tilting the reflection surface of the reflection plate for a display medium surface. SOLUTION: The reflection surface 20a of the reflection plate 20 arranged on a display panel consists of many sow-tooth-wave surfaces tilted by a prescribed angle for the display panel surface, and they constitute a mirror array. The device is constituted so that lighting light 2 incident for the display panel surface at the angle of 20 deg. is reflected by the reflection surface 20a nearly in the normal direction of the display panel surface beforehand, and when the observational position is made the vertical direction for the display panel surface, since regular reflection light 3 on the display panel surface is reflected in the direction of a reflection angle 20 deg., the reflection light 5 from the reflection surface 20a isn't overlapped with the regular reflection light 3 on the display panel surface, and a bright image is observed on the observational position, and the visibility is improved. The reflection plate 20 is preferred to be the constitution performing metallic vapor deposition on a rear surface of a transparent medium 20b, forming a reflection layer 20c to make a rear surface mirror and interposing the transparent medium between the reflection surface 20a and the display panel. |
