The adhesive tape used to fix the Braun tube of an image equipment with an explosion-proof band is produced by the following; a fiber mesh cloth is used as a substrate, an adhesive layer is formed on one side of the fiber mesh cloth and a coating layer on the other side of that with a resin of two group no having a compatability that is, the mixture composition of low melting point resin and high melting point resin. The characteristic of the adhesive tape according to this invention has no specified melting point in the range of a definite temperature.
