PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a branch loss in a router section from being caused theoretically by connecting each branch output terminal of a wavelength branching filter to a synthesis input terminal of each wavelength synthesizer respectively. SOLUTION: Branching input terminals 30a-30d of 1st-4th wavelength branching filters 26a-26d are connected to 1st-4th paths 18a-18d. An optical packet signal delayed by 0, 1-3 is given to the 1st-4th wavelength branching filters 26a-26d. Each wavelength synthesizer 28 is provided with four synthesis wave input terminals 34 and one wave synthesis output terminal 36 and synthesizes the optical packet signals received from the wave synthesis input terminals 34 and provides an output from the synthesis output terminal 26. Furthermore, the wave synthesis output terminal 36 of each wavelength synthesizer 28 is connected to each external output port. Then the optical packet signals with each delay are led to a desired external output port by using the wavelength branching filter 26. |
