PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To send accepted bet data to a race place and carry on telephone betting service without any interruption even if trouble occurs to the telephone betting system. SOLUTION: A telephone betting member calls an audio response unit through a telephone set 1 and performs betting operation with a push-button signal according to a voice guidance from the audio response unit 2. The audio response unit 2 sends the push-button signal as butting data to a communication control part 5 or 6 which is normally communicable. The communication control part 5 or 6 sends the betting data to telephone betting control parts 7 and 8. The telephone betting control parts 7 and 8 receive the same betting data, perform betting processes almost at the same time, and updates respective betting account files and also send the betted numbers to a concourse totalization system 11. |
