PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a memory from being miswritten in normal operation of a microcomputer or at its momentary stop. SOLUTION: Even if a flag 12 is erroneously set to a logical value '1' owing to an external factor, etc., while the microcomputer is in normal operation, a latch circuit 15 can continuously be reset to prevent the EEPROM 1 from being set to a write mode. If a power source VDD has a momentary break during data writing to an address area B of the EEPROM 1, the latch circuit 15 can be resets and the data rewriting is quit to prevent the memory from being miswritten. |
