PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple system for monitoring and controlling power systems wherein the possibility of any malfunction is prevented and the advantage of the multiple system can be sufficiently utilized even though any abnormality is present in its common memory data when the processing by a system being in a standby mode is started, in the backup processing by the multiple system. SOLUTION: In a multiple system for monitoring and controlling power systems, accumulating the data of a CPU1 being in a use mode in a common memory 4, the data of a CPU2 being in a standby mode is compared with the data read from the common memory 4, and when the CPU1 being in the use mode is damaged and the monitoring and controlling by the CPU1 are changed over to the ones by the CPU2 being in the standby mode, if any abnormality is present in the data of the common memory 4, this changeover is determined to be inhibited. Thereby, any malfunction in the case of the backup by the multiple system can be prevented to improve its reliability. |
