CABLE CONDUIT LINE BREAKING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-size conduit line breaking device which generates no dust nor noise. SOLUTION: An adaptor 2 is installed on a hydraulic cylinder 1 and a pair of split members 4 are installed on the adaptor 2. A tapered space is formed between confronting surfaces of the split members 4. A wedge member 3 connected to a piston 5 of the hydraulic cylinder 1 is inserted in the tapered space. By driving the hydraulic cylinder 1 with the split members 4 being inserted into a prepared hole 19 of a conduit line 18 and then moving the wedge member 3 forward, the split members 4 are opened, thereby the conduit line being broken.
