<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make resistance values of elements uniform and improve durability by coating an entire surface of a thermosensitive resistor element with a nickel layer formed on a surface of a cylindrical nichrome line and a joint with a heat-resistant coating material. SOLUTION: A thermosensitive resistor element 11 comprises a nickel layer 13 formed on a surface of a cylindrical nichrome line 12 and a coating material 14 coated on a surface of the nickel layer 13. To form the nickel layer, methods such as electroplating, electroless plating, vacuum vapor deposition or sputtering may be used. By thus forming the nickel layer 13 on the nickel line 12 of a predetermined length, an element 11 having a specific resistance value can be obtained. Both ends of the element 11 are joined by welding, brazing or the like to tips of support conductors 17, 18 made of stainless steel or the like, and after joining, the coating material 14 such as glass coat or heat-resistant resin is coated to cover an entire surface of the element 11 and joined parts, thereby forming a sensor 10 (thermosensitive resistor).</p> |
