PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the carrying of a paper sheet, for preventing an offset, to stably provide high image quality and to prolong a service life by providing a contact part between an extending roller and a roller having elasticity and obtaining an obtuse angle, as an angle formed by a line that links the axial centers of the extending roller and the roller having the elasticity and the surface of a belt extended between belt rotation supporting rollers on the upstream and downstream sides in a carrying direction. SOLUTION: The paper sheet on which an unfixed toner image is formed is carried along an intrusion guide 77 and intruded into a nip. At this time, an angleθa formed by the line that likes the axial centers of a driving roller 83 and a pressure roller 84 and the axial centers of a heating roller 82 and the driving roller 83 on which the fixing belt 81 is extended is the obtuse angle. Therefore an angleθformed by the line that links the axial centers of the driving roller 83 and the pressure roller 84 and the fixing belt 81 on the upstream side in the carrying direction of the driving roller is the obtuse angle. Thus, the gap between the carried surface of the paper sheet and the fixing belt 81 is made larger, to prevent contact with the fixing belt 81, even if the paper is held in the nip.
