PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize extension of a module freely and easily at a low cost and to easily insert/withdraw a live line. SOLUTION: Each of modules 1, 2, 3 is provided with a microprocessor conducting arithmetic control in response to a function and designed to be an intelligent module. Furthermore, each of the modules 1, 2, 3 is provided with a light emitting element 91 to send an optical communication signal, a light receiving element 92 to receive the optical communication signal which are arranged in an optical communication cell (space element) 9a with both windows. The optical communication cells 9a among the adjacent modules 1, 2, 3 are arranged to arrange the plural modules 1, 2, 3 to form an optical communication space bridged over the plural modules 1, 2, 3. In the optical communication space, the optical communication signal sent from one optional emitting element 91 is received by a light receiving element 92 of a transmission destination to conduct optical communication among the modules 1, 2, 3. |
