PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive material low in tendency to curl even in the case of storing in a roll of film and good in dimensional stability by cooling a photosensitive layer, after coating and drying, from a specified temperature to a specified lower temperature above the glass transition point of a polyester support for a specified time. SOLUTION: This photoresist material has on the polyester support at least one transferrable or nontransferrable photosensitive layer and the photosensitive layer is cooled, after coating and drying it, from a temperature by 25 deg.C higher than the glass transition point of the polyester support down to a temperature by 5 deg.C higher than the glass transition point for >=20sec. This polyester of the support is not especially limited but it is preferred to use the polyester composed essentially of dicarboxylic acid and diol components and having film forming property. This photosensitive material is used for photosensitive materials for forming lithographic and letterpress printing plates and for color correction and the like. |
