PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make urgent contact with other stores which are set as urgent contact places via a head office system by setting automatically a prescribed number of other stores of telephone numbers close to its on store as the urgent contact places in each store system. SOLUTION: A head office system 2 sets the urgent contact places every time a store is newly opened or a store is closed. Then, the telephone number of its on store is compared with that of each of other store, and other stores having the equal numerical value of six digits consisting of toll and local office numbers are selected up to ten as the nearby stores. If such other stores are less than ten, just ten other stores are selected as nearby stores in order of smaller differences of six digits consisting of toll and local office numbers. When ten other stores of telephone numbers close to its own store are selected as its nearby stores in such a way, the telephone number information on each of ten stores is automatically set to an urgent contact place memory of each store system 1. |
