PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to maintain a balance for the purpose of system stabilization after power demand and supply balance has been lost due to falling of power source or a sudden, change in load by providing means for shortening time for changing power set point in response to the urgency of emergency power control command and urgently increasing or decreasing power. SOLUTION: When a power demand and supply balance has been lost due to a falling of power source or a sudden change in load, an emergency power control commented for effective power is sent out from a system controller, and a power setter (65P) automatically sets the power command value in predetermined settling time. It is compared to real power and a power compactor 18; and an inverted 12 of a secondary excitation device is controlled by a power deviation correction circuit 19, adder 20, power control circuit 14, subtractor 27, q-axis control circuit 28 and two-phase/three-phase converter 33 in order to obtain the power command value. By doing this, the power is quickly settled to the command value, and system stability can be improved. |
