The present invention relates to the manufacture of a self-sealing valve for balloons or non-elastomeric inflatable articles, wherein said self-sealing valve is simultaneously conformed upon conformation of said balloon or inflatable article. The invention further refers to a multiple-layered laminated body for the manufacture of said self-sealing valves in said balloons or inflatable articles, wherein two of the layers of laminated material are thermo-sealing compatible with each other , and both internal layers of said laminated body are thermo-sealing incompatible with each other.
