PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and surely sort bills and securities according to MICR (magnetic ink character recognition) data by integrating and handling all securities, including bills of exchange. SOLUTION: An ID reader 14 of a receiving terminal T1 reads out an image of the reverse surface of an actual securities TG1, to detect an unprinted area, an ID encoder 15 encodes an ID code in this unprinted area, and the receiving terminal T1 sends management data such as image data, MICR data of the like to an image file server IFS together with the ID code. An operation input terminals group T2 corrects, adds and confirms the management data by referring to the image data. After this confirmation, the securities TG2 carried from the receiving terminal T1 has its ID code read by an encoding terminal T3 to obtain management data corresponding to the ID code, the MICR data are encoded, and a reader sorter terminal T4 performs a classifying process according to the encoded data. |
