SECONDARY BATTERY CHARGING SYSTEM FOR RADIO TRANSMITTER-RECEIVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the charging system for a secondary battery whose cost is reduced by making the size of an external power supply time division multiple access(TDMA) system transmitter-receiver small. SOLUTION: A switch 9 is provided to a charging current path of a secondary battery 6 in which a current from an external power supply 8 is branched. The switch 9 is on/off-controlled with a control signal from a control section 3 to control the operation of a radio section 2 corresponding to a transmission/ reception slot of the TDMA so as to open the switch 9 for the transmission slot and to close the switch 9 for other periods thereby stopping charging at a transmission state requiring a large current consumption.
