<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of C-GIS(cubicle gas insulation switchgear) by lessening the number of panels and elements. SOLUTION: A main body 2 of GIS which is housed in C-GIS 1 consists of lightning arrester element 4, a line element 5, a gas-blast circuit-breaker element 6, and a bus bar element 7. The lightning arrester element 4 has a square container, wherein a lightning arrester LA is stored in the horizontal direction together with a disconnecting section for lightning protection DS1. In the case no lightning arrester is installed in the C-GIS 1, the container for lightning arrester is replaced with a frame. Therefore, there is no need of increasing the size of the C-GIS 1 when installating a lightning arrester. Furthermore, the same elements can be used in common whether a lightning arrester is installed or not.</p> |
