PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal equipment for wired television broadcast program and the wired television broadcast system in which notice information or the like is smoothly informed to viewers. SOLUTION: A terminal equipment 3 receives a broadcast signal of a wired television broadcast program from a broadcast center 2 through a wired channel and displays a broadcast program based on a broadcast signal, and is configured with following conditions. A broadcast on/off control means 38 sets on/off of a television program display. A designated channel automatic selection means 32 selects automatically a channel designated by the broadcast center 2 as channels of television broadcast display at least in either case that the display on/off control means 38 selects from off to on state for the television display or selects from off to on state. |
