<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of surely releasing a lid from its lock state even when its tape cassette is inserted slantwise. SOLUTION: This device is constituted to be capable of opening the cassette lid 1a in releasing the lock state of this lid by making a 1st lid lock releasing part 3a formed as a part of a cassette housing 3' abut against the lid of the tape cassette 1 when the tape cassette 1 is inserted into a magnetic recording and reproducing device main body. Moreover, the device is provided with a 2nd lid lock releasing part 9a higher than the 1st lid lock releasing part 3a, and is equipped with a lid lock releasing lever 9 to be energized to the side of an inserting path of the tape cassette 1, while this lid lock releasing lever 9 is provided with a projection part 9b for abutting against the tape cassette 1 inserted under the normal state and moving the lid lock releasing lever 9 against the energizing force.</p> |
