SCREEN FOR PROJECTION-TYPE TELEVISION SET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen for a projection-type television set having such performances that satisfy both of high transmlttance and good light-diffusing property and does not cause changes in the optical characteristics by thermal forming and having shock resistance, heat resistance and antistatic performance. SOLUTION: This screen is produced by forming a transparent resin layer of 30 to 150μm thickness prepared by uniformly dispersing fine particles by 5 to 20wt.% in a transparent resin matrix layer on a polycarbonate resin. The 1/3 angle of visual field (β-value) of the screen is specified to 8 deg. to 20 deg.. The fine particles satisfy both of the following formula. (I) 0.001<=|Nm-Nd|<=0.1 wherein Nm is the refractive index of the transparent resin and Nd is the refractive index of fine particles. (II) 1μm<=Dd<=10μm, wherein Dd is the weight average particle size of the fine particles.
