PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing plate for an orienting film in which even when printing of an orienting film is continuously performed, production of foreign matter due to residue of the orienting film material can be prevented. SOLUTION: A printing plate for an orienting film having 22mm length, 29mm width and 1mm thickness is printed on the printing surface 1 with plural dots 3 having about 35μm radius and 15μm depth. The edge part 2 of the printing plane 1 is formed in such a manner that the edge has a slope along the diagonal direction. When an orienting film is printed on a panel in the assembling process such as to produce a liquid crystal display, an orienting film material is applied on the printing plane 1 of the orienting film printing machine, and the printing plate 1 with the orienting film material applied is pressed to the panel to transfer the orienting film material to the panel 4. |
