PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a wedge-based lamp connector at a lower manufacturing cost as being capable of connecting the terminal of a wire thereto in the state that the terminal is stored in a housing without restricting manufacturing procedures and of holding both sides of a wedge portion with the same-shape terminal. SOLUTION: A wedge-based ramp connector is formed with two-split housings 17, 18 having respective pairs of terminals 19, 19 opposing each other in mating. Paris of terminals 19, 19 are provided with wire connections 47, contact portions 49 connected to leads and holding strips 48, so that both sides of a wedge portion can be held between the contact portion 49 of one terminal 17 and the holding strip 48 of the other terminal 19 and between the holding strip 48 of one terminal 19 and the contact portion 49 of the other terminal 19. Leads are connected together between one side of the wedge portion and the contact portion 49 of one terminal 19 and between the other side of the wedge portion and the contact portion 49 of the other terminal 19. |
