PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire with which a lamp unit may be temporarily suspended during electric wire connection work by employing a pole through which a power line is passed, the lamp unit from which a lead comes out, and a temporary suspension member comprising a suspension wire with its fore-end provided with a securing member capable of engaging with the top portion of the pole. SOLUTION: A power line 4 is passed through a pole 1 having a lamp securing portion 6. A lamp unit 2 has an attachment portion 7 to be attached to the securing portion 6, and a lead 5 comes out of the lamp unit 2. A temporary suspension member 3 comprises a suspension line 9 such as a wire with its one end secured to the inside of the attachment portion 7 while with the other end bound to a securing member 13 by means of a connection hole 12, with the securing member 13 made of a strip bent in a J shape to form a hook portion 10. To assemble, the hook portion 10 of the securing member 13 is hooked on the brim of the securing portion 6 and tightened with a screw 14. Since the lighting unit 2 is temporarily suspended from the pole 1 using the temporary suspension member 3, the power line 4 and the lead 5 may be connected safely and securely by a single worker. After that, the securing member 13 is removed, the attachment portion 7 is fit to the securing portion 6 and secured with a bolt 8. |
