PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to mount an air conditioner on a building without damaging the outward appearance of the building and contrive to reduce a running cost and enhance comfortability during heating time as well. SOLUTION: The casing 1 of air conditioner A1 is mounted in such a state that the casing is buried in an outer peripheral wall of a building. Both indoor equipment unit and outdoor equipment unit are housed in this casing 1 so that they may be laid out up and down. A partition board 11 is provided so as to partition the casing 1 into an indoor equipment compartment 12 on the indoor equipment unit side and an outdoor equipment compartment 13 on the outdoor equipment unit side wherein an indoor air inlet 121 and an indoor air outlet 122 are provided on the side of the indoor equipment compartment 12 of the casing 11 while an outdoor air inlet 131 and an outdoor air outlet 132 are provided on the side of the outdoor equipment compartment 13. The bottom of the casing 11 is faced with an underfloor space K of the building while the outdoor air outlet 131 is provided on the bottom of the casing 1 and opened on the underfloor space K. |
