PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collect only the position information of a vehicle existent in a designated zone by dividing the operating area of the vehicle into plural blocks and designating a block. SOLUTION: The collection block of vehicle position information is inputted from a console 11 at a base station 1 and instruction data are generated by an information processing part 15 and transmitted from a transmission/reception part 2 through a communication control part 12 by radio. This radio wave is received/demodulated by a transmission/reception part 31 at a mobile station 3 of each vehicle, inputted to a discrimination part 36 and collated with the position information measured by a GPS receiver 34. When it is inside the designated block, the present vehicle number in a memory part 35 is read out, inputted to a signal processing part 37, together with the signal of active state from a fare meter 38, processed into required signal, together with the position information from the GPS receiver and transmitted from the transmission/reception part 31 by radio. This radio wave is received by the transmission/reception part 2 and discriminated to belong to the instructed block by the information processing part 15, these data are transferred to an information processing part 19 and processed together with map data read out of a memory part 16, and the position of the mobile station is displayed on the map picture of a display part 21. |
