<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the reception level measurement method in a transmitter in which number of trials is reduced by allowing a controller storing relational data between a code error rate of the transmitter and a rate of change in a reception level characteristic to measure a reception level of the transmitter based on the relational data when any code error is detected. SOLUTION: Relational data between a code error rate of a transmitter and a rate of change in a reception level characteristic are stored in advance in a controller 1 that controls an encode section 2 of a transmission signal of a transmitter, a reception signal decode section 3 and an attenuator 4 via a controller bus 6. The controller 1 measures a reception level of the transmitter when the controller 1 detects a code error to calculate a reception level to obtain a code error rate warranted by the transmitter based on the relational data and controls the attenuation of the attenuator 4 based on the calculated reception level. Thus, the reception level measurement system for the transmitter is realized, in which number of trials till a reception level is confirmed is reduced.</p> |
