PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent peeling of a polarizing film adhered to a liquid crystal cell when the film is used for a long time. SOLUTION: In the production process of a liquid crystal panel, a cell 11 before a polarizing film is adhered is irradiated with UV rays L while ozone 26 is supplied. Thereby, the surface of the cell is modified to improve the wettability and the adhesion property of the polarizing film to be adhered in the succeeding process can be improved. In this case, the cell 11 may be heated by a hot plate 21 and the space where ozone 26 is supplied may be partitioned with a quartz glass 22. |
