PEN-TYPE COORDINATE INPUT DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small coordinate input device which precisely detects handwriting input with simple constitution. SOLUTION: Vibration transmission parts 3 (3a and 3b) transmit the vibration of a pen core 2 in the directions of an x-axis and a y-axis to vibration detection parts 4 (4a-4b) by using a member provided with a prescribed elastic coefficient. The vibration detection part 4 detects the amplitude and the frequency of vibration, which the vibration transmission part 3 transmits. A shift quantity detection part 6 operates the shift direction of a pen tip part 21 based on the detected amplitude and operates the shift distance of the pen tip part 21 based on the detected frequency.
