PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption and to keep excellent communication quality by correcting a transmission power designated value within a range of the PDC standards so as to adjust a transmission power of a radio wave sent from a mobile station. SOLUTION: While a transmission level detection signal is generated through the detection of a level of a transmission signal, a transmission power is optimized in the unit of 1dB depending on a transmission power designated value outputted from a control section 7, a TA value (information from a base station), a reception electric field level, a reception error rate estimate and transmission level detection signal outputted from a reception processing section 3, a transmission signal with the transmission power designated by the optimum transmission power is generated based on the transmission signal outputted from a control section 7 and the generated signal is fed to a transmission reception section 8. That is, the transmission power of the transmission signal outputted from a transmission processing section 8 is adjusted in the unit of '1'dB within a range of upper and lower limits being the transmission power range designated by the transmission power designation value. |
