The fixing has a threaded rod (2,3) cooperating with a locking screw (21) and having a cross bore (11) to receive the free end (17,18) of a connector (19) fixed to the frame section (25,26). The rod is disposed directly inside the lens (4) in a main bore (5,6) adjacent to the edge, a secondary cross bore (8,9) extending orthogonally to the first so that one of its ends (12,13) opens laterally into the main bore in correspondence with the cross bore of the rod, the other end of the secondary bore opens at the surface of the glass.
