The device includes a first transmission line (V1) which connects a transmitter (A) to a receiver station (B). A second auxiliary line (V2) is positioned in parallel with the first. The receiver has a measurement unit which compares the transmitted signal on the first line with a reference level which is stored and held in memory. When a zero or much reduced signal is detected in the receiver, the line is switched to the auxiliary line automatically to ensure continuity of transmission. |
