The display packaging for a ring pipe (100) comprises a base (1) with a lower stabilising part (11) and a constraint (6) for the pipe. The base upper part forms a cradle for the ring pipe. The base is equipped with a vertical stiffening plate (5) and has an upper reinforcing face in the cradle. The base and its stiffening plate are made from a pre-cut cardboard blank having folding lines delimiting four right-angled flaps. The first flap (5) forms the stiffening plate and the other flaps form the base. A cut-out is made in the third and fourth flaps to form the cradle.
