The block (3) has fastenings such as screws (4) for attaching it to the upper surface of the ski (1). Other fastenings with male (5) and female (6) components, such as screws and optional inserts, are used to hold the boot clamp (2) to the block. The block can have reinforcements surrounding the boot clamp fastenings and its upper surface can be inclined towards its front end. The block can be machined or moulded from plastics and measure e.g. 5.3 cm wide by 2 cm deep by 18 cm long. |
