PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic attaching device for electronic parts with high reliability which can adjust automatically the lowermost position of a suction nozzle for sucking electronic parts corresponding to the thickness of a base tape in a housing reel for the electronic parts. SOLUTION: This device is provided with, on the midway of a route between a vacuum pump and a suction nozzle 5, a measuring part for measuring a pressure within the route, a measuring part for measuring a transient time in the measuring part, storage devices 31 and 32 for storing respectively preset reference values, and a judging part for comparing the measured results obtained respectively from the measuring parts with the reference values stored in the storage devices 31 and 32 and computing them. Thus, any error of machining and assembling or fitting of electronic parts supply unit can be eliminated, resulting in highly reliable suction. |
