PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extension telephone set in which functions of a home use master set are easily used by the user without the need for memorizing the user's own password number and instruction codes required for the home use master set. SOLUTION: After the external line mode is selected by using a mode selection key included in a key matrix 28 of a slave set 102 in common use with PHS terminal, it is connected to a home use master set 101 through dialing via a public telephone line network. After the connection, when a desired function one-touch operation key among plural function one-touch operation keys included in the key matrix is depressed, a control section 20 reads a DTMF signal corresponding to the depressed function one-touch operation key among registered signals and transmits the read DTMF signal to the home use master set via an ADPCM 27, a MODEM 26, an RF unit 25, an antenna 24 and the public telephone line network to freely operate the function of the master set corresponding to the sent DTMF signal among various functions provided to the home use master set. |
